Hard disk installation under Win7 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 ES method

  
                  

1. Hard disk partition configuration:

C drive: Win7 (NTFS format —— installed)

D drive: Install software disk under Windows (NTFS format —— Not processed)

E-disk: used to store the installation file of rhl6.0ES (FAT32 format —— can be changed to NTFS after installation, because other D/F disk data is too much, so I choose data Less E disk, you can choose according to the actual situation)

F disk: File disk under Windows (NTFS format —— not processed)


G disk: (FAT32 format & mdash; & mdash; /root partition storage point, size according to the actual situation of the hard disk, my 40G)

H disk: (FAT32 format & mdash; & mdash; 4G space size, for Linux Swap Partition)

2. Set up the boot and start the Rhl-6.0-ES installer

2.1. Download rhel-server-6.0-i386-dvd

2.2. Format 3 partitions to FAT32

Note: Windows 7 cannot pass the system Format option directly to partition format Converted to FAT32 format.

Go to http://www.partition-tool.com/download.htm to download the free partitioning tool. The partitions I formatted are E, G, and H partitions.

Subdivision follows:

Step: Select the partition to be formatted (E in FIG disk)

Step: Right-click & ldquo; Format partition & rdquo;

step 3: select & ldquo; File System & rdquo; as FAT32, click OK.
