RealPlayer player how to set the best video playback

RealPlayer is a very well-known local video player. Today, Xiaobian will tell you how to set the RealPlayer video playback effect best, so that you get the best viewing experience.

How RealPlayer sets up video playback best

You can customize RealPlayer by changing the settings in the Preferences window (opened from the View menu). These settings control various aspects of the RealPlayer application, such as the number of files that RealPlayer can remember, network information, and proxy server information. In addition, regular tags include preferences for several aspects of the regular functionality of RealPlayer. For example, the use of the current file by the main file, the number of control files, and the like.

Adjust system compatibility with performance preferences. Most of the time you should not change them. However, they are helpful if they are on an old system or have a special video issue.

(1) Playback performance: RealPlayer uses this setting to optimize the performance of clip playback. This performance setting needs to be changed only if the computer appears to be slow or there is a problem with the playback content.

(2) Clip Cache (default is 4MB): To speed up the playback of frequently used content, RealPlayer can be allowed to put it into the cache, just as the Web browser does. Not all content can be put into the cache, only those that are cached when created. To change the default selection, click Settings.

(3) Clip Cache Size: Reset the size of the cache (minimum 4MB). To modify the cache size, you must restart RealPlayer. To empty old data, click “Clear Clip Cache”. Emptying the cache does not change the file size, it only clears the cached data. If you need to regain disk space, you can reduce the size of the cache or disable it.

(4) Play from web links: Sometimes clips are set to be downloaded or run only from the web server instead of from RealServer. RealPlayer can play these clips instead of downloading them. To change the default settings, click Settings to enable instant play. Note  This feature is only available when working with IE 3.0 or higher.

(5) Enable instant playback (enabled by default): Enable or disable this feature by selecting this option.

(6) Disable 16-bit sound (8-bit only): Use this setting if the sound card is old and the sound of the clip is poor or distorted.

(7) Disable custom sample rate: Use this setting if the clip plays at the wrong speed, the sound is poor or distorted.

(8) Video Card Compatibility: Enable or disable <;Use Optimized Video Display”. If enabled, older cards or video drivers may not work properly. If the video is not working properly, it is recommended to disable this optimized video.
