Manually annihilating the Word macro virus

The macro virus is written by the macro language (a VB-like language) in Word, which is easy to spread and has great harm. It can often take a lot of time for the user to write a document. “Eat” . However, in today's virus rampage, anti-virus software still can only play a role in the aftermath. If you receive an unfamiliar Word attachment that you are interested in on a certain day, you would like to open it to see what you are looking for, but you are very worried about the Word document with a macro virus. At this time, in the use of anti-virus software to kill no results, if you are not at ease, use the method of manual killing and annihilating Word macro virus, you can be more assured. Check first. Infections have long known that if you can check yourself before opening a file, if you are infected with a macro virus, you will be well-informed. The method of checking is very simple: open the document to be checked, click on the “File” menu bar, select the “Save as” command, if the save type in the dialog box is fixed to “Document Module” (Figure 1) , this means that the file has been infected with the macro virus and needs to be cleaned up with anti-virus software. Scribbled roots annihilating macro viruses found macro viruses, we can manually kill macro viruses. Click the “Tools” menu bar, select “Macro”, click the “Macro” command, or use the key combination Alt+F8 to bring up the macro dialog (Figure 2), if there is already in the pop-up dialog box If you record a macro, it is most likely a macro virus. You can delete all the macros. More complex macro viruses will mask the macro dialog, and other methods are needed. The macro virus in the Word environment is usually stored in the Normal.dot file in the Templates subdirectory of the Microsoft Office directory. In this case, you need to restart the computer, find the file, delete it, and then run Word. However, the road is one foot high and one foot high. Some macro viruses "know" users will find Normal.dot and delete it, so it will put the same Normal.dot in multiple directories on the hard disk. If only one of the Templates is deleted, Word will follow the Windows default. The search path is searched, so that other toxic Normal.dot will be loaded and the deleted ones will be restored. At this time, the user only needs to use the method of finding files in Windows to delete all the Normal.dot in the hard disk (Fig. 3). It is similar to the human virus, and it is also prevention-oriented for computer viruses. Increasing awareness of prevention is somewhat more important than killing. The method of preventing Word macro virus is actually very simple, because the file that the macro virus resides in Word is Normal.dot, so as long as the property of the Normal.dot file that does not infect the macro virus is set to read-only, the macro virus cannot Hosting to Normal.dot can prevent macro viruses (Figure 4).
