Newcomers use MyEclipse Essentials

From the perspective of any MyEclipse application developer, MyEclipse's features are the easiest to access, and these views provide quick access to all of MyEclipse's features. The following figure provides an annotated view of the default MyEclipse perspective feature organization. Open another MyEclipse perspective, select Window>Open Perspective and select any of the MyEclipse options. MyEclipse's Explorer view is in MyEclipse's view of the default browser, which provides quick access to other files related to the project. This explorer view also includes an advanced search feature that allows you to enter filtered text and specify whether the search is a regular expression, file name, or file content if the search text is case sensitive. The filter's drop-down menu preserves your search history and also remembers the settings of the search filter tool. The commonality between opening a browser and sending to a mail recipient is the perspective. When you choose to view the project's folder in Explorer, open the Explorer tool to view the files in the system and the files in the system file browser. Tools sent to the recipient of the message allow files to be selected in your Project Explorer and sent to the recipient via an email client. You can also access these tools by right-clicking on the context menu. Right-click on the project explorer for the folder or file and select MyEclipse from the menu to open the Explorer or send to the recipient of the message. Due to the limitations of screen real-estate, it is not possible to integrate all MyEclipse views and editors within the MyEclipse perspective. To see all MyEclipse views, select Window>Show view> Other from the menu to extend any MyEclipse view. An example of a view list as shown below. Custom Perspective To change the seemingly selected perspective, select Window> Custom Perspective from the menu. Select the checkboxes on each tab and the perspective you want will appear in the project. This article comes from [System Home] www.xp85.com
