Screen recording with the player

Sometimes the best way to introduce a piece of software or teach others to use it is to record a tutorial video. However, the software installation and testing of professional video recording is very troublesome, and others may not have the corresponding software. In fact, the player PotPlayer can screen recording, and the compatibility is higher. Preparation before recording Right-click in the PotPlayer play window, select “Open →Device Settings”, switch to the “Collector” tab, check “Also check the mouse cursor” option, so that when recording You can see the mouse operation. If you want to include sound in the video, you can select the microphone device in the <quo;Devices" Also right-click in the play window and select “Options" in the pop-up settings window, select “Hotkey" under "Basic". Then click “Add” in the right window to select “any window focus can be controlled” option (Figure 2). Now in the "Shortcuts" list, set the shortcut commands for the operation as needed. I set the Del key of the keypad here. Then in the command list, select Expand and select “Video & Rarr; Image Capture & Rarr; Record Video & rdquo; Command, and finally click “ OK & rdquo; Exit (Figure 3). To hide the PotPlayer interface, right click on the play window and select “Open → Collector” command. In the pop-up recording window to customize the size of the recording window, we can either operate by dragging the recording window, or directly click the “full screen” button in the upper right corner to record (Figure 4). Next, click the “Hide 1st lens” command in the upper right corner of the collector to hide the collector window to avoid interference with the recording. Then click the minimize button on the main interface of the PotPlayer to hide the main interface of the player, otherwise the picture-in-picture will appear when playing later. The video encoding setting is just the custom Del key, click on the “Save Location” in the pop-up window to set the directory where the recording file is saved. File format, it is recommended that you choose "MPEG4 MP4", and the video encoding also selects "MPEG4". If the user has recording information at the same time as the recording, then the MP3 format can be selected in the audio encoding, and the code rate can be selected as 128Kbps (Fig. 5). After the actual recording operation is set, click “Start”, PotPlayer starts the recording operation. If the interface is inconvenient, drag it to the lower right corner of the screen. Click Record & Finish; Stop & rdquo; Now click on “Open Archive Folder” and you will see the file you just recorded. Send this file to the users who need it. They don't need to install professional software, just view it by playing the software. In fact, starting from the Windows 7 system, it includes a program called "Problem Step Recorder", which can also perform "recording" on the user's operation. However, this function cannot be used for video recording, but is operated in the form of <;text plus picture". So I finally chose PotPlayer. This article comes from [System Home] www.xp85.com
