Area calculation of Haochen CAD tutorial

In the drawing of CAD software, we often calculate the area of closed graphics due to design needs. On the drawings, the shape of the figures is very different. So how do we calculate the area of different types of graphics? Please see today's CAD tutorial (the software used is Haochen CAD2012, you can log in to Haochen CAD official website to download).

1. For simple graphics, such as rectangles and triangles. We only need to execute the command [AREA] (can be the command line input or click the corresponding command icon), after the command prompt "Specify first corner point or [Object /Add /Subtract]: & rdquo;, open the capture and select the rectangle or triangle in turn. After returning to each intersection, Haochen CAD will automatically calculate the area (Area) and perimeter (Perimeter) and list the results on the command line (Figure 1).

2, the other for a circle or polyline (Polyline), splines (Spline) consisting of a two-dimensional enclosed pattern. We can execute the command [AREA], after the command prompt "Specify first corner point or [Object/Add/Subtract]: & rdquo;, select the Object option, select the graphic to be calculated according to the prompt, Haochen CAD will automatically calculate the area, perimeter.

3, for a complex closed graph composed of simple lines and arcs, you can not directly execute the AREA command to calculate the graph area. Instead, use the region command to create the area to be calculated as the area, and then execute the command [AREA]. After the command prompt "Specify first corner point or [Object/Add/Subtract]:”, select [Object] 】Options, according to the prompt to select the area graphic just created, Haochen CAD will automatically calculate the area and perimeter.

It can be seen that for most graphics, we can use Haochen CAD's "AREA" command to easily calculate the area. For complex graphics, we take the method of calculating the area after the creation of the area, you can choose the appropriate way for different situations in the actual drawing.
