Zhongwang CAD tutorial to create a command alias

  
                  Zhongwang CAD 2010 provides an alias for many commands. With aliases, you can reference some common commands by typing one or two letters instead of the entire command. Programs often use aliases to maintain compatibility with other CAD command names. We can customize these aliases and add new ones.

2.4.4.1 Creating a New Alias ​​

As shown in Figure 2-28, to create a new alias, you first define an alias and assign it to an available command.

1. Click the [New] button.

2. Type a new alias in the "alias:" edit box.

3. In the "optional command" list, select the appropriate command.

4. Click the [Add Command] button.

5. Click the [Close] button.

2.4.4.2 Redefining an Existing Alias ​​

1. Select the alias you want to change in the "Alias"

2. In the "optional command" list, select the appropriate command.

3. Click the [Add Command] button.

4.Click the [Close] button.

2.4.4.3 Deleting an Existing Alias ​​

1. Select the alias you want to delete in the "Alias"

2. Click the [Delete] button.

3.Click the [Close] button.

2.4.4.4 Saving Alias ​​Files

Zhongwang CAD 2010 automatically saves changes to the current alias. Readers can also create and save their own alias files. The program uses the *.ica extension to save the alias file. It can also be saved as .pgp for other CAD applications.

1. Select the "export” button.

2. Select *.ica or *.pgp from the type list.

3. Specify the path and file name.

4.Click the [Save] button.

5. Click the [Close] button.

2.4.4.5 Calling an Alias ​​File

You can replace the current alias file with your own alias file. The program can call other CAD (*.pgp) and Zhongwang CAD 2010 (*.ica) alias files.

1. Select the [Import] button.

2. Select *.ica or *.pgp from the type list.

3. Specify an alias file.

4.Click the [Open] button.

5. Click the [Close] button.
