CAD2012 Tips for Creating Light Sources

Light sources are an essential element in creating 3D model drawings using CAD/CAM software. Using different types of light sources in CAD/CAM software and making all the necessary settings can produce completely different effects. Cad2012 provides the creation of various light sources such as ambient light, direction light, spot light, eye source and screen orientation.

To add a light source to cad: Select “”Add a light source in the Visual Style Tools tab. Then select the source category to be added in the required input in the Zhongwang 3D Manager. Take the poly light source as an example: define a poly light source by two points, one point determines the position of the light source, and the other point determines the direction of the light source. The light from the collecting source starts at its point of location and forms a cone that illuminates. The light source mark is displayed at the defined light source position. Specifying the position and orientation of the poly source can create a poly source directly by clicking OK. You can also set the color, brightness, angle, and attenuation in the optional input. You can refer to this method to add multiple lights to your drawing.
