How do I delete the drive letter created by the virtual drive?

User's latest question: I recently installed a virtual CD-ROM software, but when I uninstalled it, the optical drive letter icon created by it in my computer was kept there. Can't go, how can I solve it?

Best solution: You may have problems uninstalling. If the system is Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you can do it in “Control Panel →System →Performance Maintenance & Rarr;Device Manager” Under "CD-ROM", uninstall your virtual drive (generally named xxx SCSI CD-ROM DEVICE); if the system is Windows 98, you can delete the virtual CD icon in the registry and run “regedit” Locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Enum\\SCSI item. The following subkeys correspond to the virtual CD and the physical CD drive respectively. Delete the subkeys (subkey names containing SCSI characters) of the corresponding virtual disk.
