PPStream daily use tips 3

[computer hardware and software application network tutorial] I believe that many users are using PPStream this current popular Internet TV client, but in daily use, do you know some details of the usage ? Here I introduce you to 3 tips to let PPStream serve you better.

1. The channel list is reborn

I believe many users are using the P2P streaming media player PPStream. Due to system reasons or the software is upgraded, the channel list is missing. The phenomenon. If we encounter such a phenomenon, how can we solve it? In fact, it's very simple, just make a simple setup in PPStream, because software developers have already considered such problems for you. The specific operations are as follows:
Execute the "Tools/Options/Other Settings" operation in turn, then check the "Read list by HTTP" (Figure 1), then confirm and restart PPStream.
Tip: If the setting option is already "read list by HTTP", please cancel this selection, and then restart PPStream.

After the above settings, the problem of disappearing the channel list is usually solved. However, if you still can't solve the problem, then it is recommended that you uninstall PPStream first, then clean up the registry, and then reinstall the software. //This article comes from the computer software and hardware application network www.45it.com reproduced please specify
Tips: Registry cleaning method: in turn perform "Start /Run", then enter Regedit, confirm and open the Registry Editor, Then execute "Edit/Find" and enter the keyword PPStream. Finally, delete the related content found one by one.

2. Screensavers do not disturb

A lot of friends have told the author that when they are enjoying the Internet TV, the screen saver jumps out. In order not to affect the normal viewing of network TV, you must disable or extend the start-up time in the system beforehand. It is inconvenient to change it back after watching the program. In fact, PPStream is very thoughtful in terms of details, and it has built-in solutions for this problem. It is OK to make a simple setup.

Execute “Options/Tools” to enter the software setting dialog box, then directly check “Disable Screen Saver and Power Management” in the default player settings interface (Figure 2). Since it is effective immediately, once you have made this setting, you can feel free to watch the Internet TV. You don't have to worry about killing a bit of gold in the middle of the journey, sweeping your Yaxing, hehe.

3, automatic optimization of memory, do your best.

A friend of the day likes the author complains that the PPStream playback effect is not very good, he uses 2MB of ADSL broadband or frequently The picture paused, so I personally ran a friend to prepare for a check to find out the problem. After personal use, the problem is indeed as the friend said, the picture is not continuous, often pauses. After asking about the friend's machine configuration, the author felt the cause of the problem. So directly enter the PPStream settings interface, in the "Other Settings" tab, "Automatically optimize memory" item is indeed checked, immediately cancel this option. After confirming, use PPStream to play the program again, and the picture will finally flow smoothly, and there will be no periodic pauses.

"Automatically Optimize Memory" is a PPStream setting that allows the user's system to improve memory usage efficiency, but this optimization is not something that can be used by all machines. Some machines with lower configurations are very prone to picture discontinuities, and the software has made a clear indication at this setting (see Figure 1 above). However, the author's friend even ignored this prompt, and the result is naturally a problem. Later, my friends recalled that when I changed the PPStream setting option some time ago, I accidentally saw the "automatically optimize memory" setting, so I didn't want to see more, so I checked it directly.
