Run IE6 and IE7 green version at the same time

After IE7 came out, there was one more type of mainstream browser that web developers need to test. In particular, the interface that designers want to make now is normal in IE6, IE7 and Firefox (Opera market share is too low, directly ignored), repeated testing is indispensable.
But after IE7 is installed, IE6 disappears, so it is very inconvenient to test through a virtual machine or two computers.
Fortunately, foreigners are strong people, and they have developed a green version of IE7 that can run independently.
Specific steps:
1, visit http://tools.veloc-it.com/tabid/58/grm2id/4/Default.aspx Download IE7 Standalone this tool.
2, decompress IE7- Release-v1.8.zip to an empty directory, such as d:\\ie7.
3. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx to download Internet Explorer 7. Save the IE7 installation file (IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe, I downloaded the English version) to the d:\\ie7 directory (the key is to extract the file with IE7-Release-v1.8.zip) Save in the same directory).

4, run the IE7 Standalone Setup.bat batch program in the d:\\ie7 directory. This program will extract the IE7 installation files into the Installation subdirectory.
5, run ie6.bat in the d:\\ie7 directory to start ie7. Note that a dos window will appear when you start, you can't close this window, and the window will close automatically after 15 seconds. Although such

start of IE7 will be some small problems, but the effect is used to debug page is enough.
