Step 1: Create an account

In the Foxmail program, click the menu bar "Account → New", the "Wizard" dialog box will pop up, click the "Next" button here, enter the new account name in the display interface, such as "Floating Snow". As for the "mailbox path", it is recommended that you keep the default settings of the program (that is, in the "MAIL" subfolder of the program installation directory); otherwise, if you specify other paths by yourself, it may cause incorrect identification due to Foxmail after reinstalling the system. In the "Mail Identity Mark" interface, enter "Sender Name" and "Email Address" respectively.

In the "Specify Mail Server" interface, select "POP3 Account" or "HTTP Account" according to the current mailbox receiving method and then set "POP3 Server, POP3 Account Name, Password" and "SMTP Server" respectively. .

After the account information is set, in the final interface, select the "SMTP server requires authentication" check box (currently, most mailboxes require authentication), and then select whether to send mail as needed. Keep on the server. After clicking the "Finish" button, the current account is created.

Step 2: Adjust Account

Most netizens have more than one E-mail, not to mention the office family. Many people will use each E-mail as a private mailbox. , work email, receive emails from e-magazines, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to establish multiple accounts as described above. When the account is created, it will be displayed in the left list of the Foxmail main interface. The default is to arrange from top to bottom according to the order of the account creation. However, the optimal sorting method is based on how often the mailbox is used. We click on the menu bar "View → Show Account Adjustment Bar", then in the Foxmail account list, then click on the new "Up" or "Down" button at the bottom to move as needed.
Step 3: Receiving Mail

If you want to receive an email from an account, select the account name and click the “Receive” button on the toolbar; if you want to receive the emails in all accounts in turn Press the shortcut key F4; if you want to remotely view the email in the specified account, press the shortcut key F12 to pop up the “Remote Mailbox Management” dialog box, automatically get the email header, select multiple emails with Shift+mouse, and collect delete.
