Like MyIE, IE also plays multi-window

At present, many browsers based on IE kernel, such as Maxthon and Greenbrowser, are popular, but IE is overwhelmed. One of the important reasons is that IE does not support multi-page browsing. It is neither convenient nor consuming too much memory resources. I recently found a plug-in called Webtools on the Internet, so that IE browser can also have multi-page browsing function, and can greatly save memory resources, and friends who are still using IE are blessed.

Software Introduction
Software Name Microgarden WebTools 2.0
Software Nature English Shareware (currently has a Chinese crack patch)
Software size 488K (Chinese patch is 96K)
Applicable platform Windows9X /ME/2000/XP
The software introduces multi-page browsing function for IE browser, supports drag and drop function, can open the link in the webpage directly in the new window, which can save memory usage while browsing.

Software Usage

Close all IE windows before installation, then install the original software and finished package in turn, and finally copy the license.dat (included in the Chinese package) to the installation. Just under the directory. After installing IE, you will find that you have added a Webtools plugin bar. You can now browse the webpages by page. (Figure 1)

multi-page browsing operation is very simple, right-click on the tag can be achieved most of the operation. Here I introduce three tips for shortcut operations.

1. After installing Webtools, the default is to open the web page in the current tab. To open a web page in a new tab, just press the shift key and press the Enter key after entering the address.

2. You can open the modified page in a new tab by dragging the link in the web page or the link in the address bar onto the Webtools plugin.

3. Webtools allows you to define tag groups and open multiple pre-specified web pages with a single click. Click the Webtools button on the plugin bar, select "Create New Tag Group" in the submenu under "Open Tag Group", and enter the name of the tag group in the pop-up window. (Figure 2)

then click "Change Settings" to enter the settings page, find the label group settings bar. First select the tag you created, then click "Add URL" below to add the URL you specified. Repeat this process to add multiple URLs. Simply close the settings page after adding it. Click on your custom tag group in the future to open multiple pages at once.

on my machine, configured to AMD ATHLON 850 chips, memory 320M, 40G 2M Maxtor hard disk cache. When you don't use Webtools, you can open up to ten pages and use about 130M of memory. After using Webtools for multi-page browsing, the memory occupied by ten identical pages is only about 66M, which is nearly half, which is not high. Friends are definitely worth using.
