The easiest way to download web resources

When you browse the website, you can see beautiful pictures, wonderful texts, good-looking movies, and hear the sounds. Do you want to download them all to your computer, and then take it out and enjoy it later? When using a variety of software to download them, have you ignored the original but the most direct and simple download method?

The author believes that using the tools provided by the operating system to complete the download of network resources is the simplest and most easy to grasp, especially for readers who do not like to operate complex software. Below we will review how to use these methods to come down with various network resources.

Introduction to the article
First, the collection of text
Text is the most basic element of the page. The text in a web page can be downloaded as long as it is written in the web page code.

Second, the collection of pictures
we usually see a lot of color on the page pretty part, usually with a picture out of the substrate processing. It is also a very common way to express a page by writing a text directly in the picture and then adding a hyperlink to the target. All of these images can be saved.

Third, save audio and video
present the majority of the relatively large size of the sound, the film is not using HTTP protocol but with MMS, RTSP and other protocols to transmit only video carousel with flashget or other specialized software Come download. The original method is still valid for static HTML web links that are still transmitted over the HTTP protocol.

Fourth, save flash
flash is a popular web pages dynamic effects of the implementation, it is small but rich and expressive, good performance results, you can also add audio information, it is popular. Watching some of the very elaborate flashes is a pleasure. Unfortunately, it cannot be saved directly. But we have the same way to get them.

V.
save other files directly to the browser can not display the file, the system will default to download it directly to your local hard disk. This also saves the reader a lot of trouble.

First, save the text

text is the most basic elements of the page. The text in a web page can be downloaded as long as it is written in the web page code. Except for the text embedded in the image, they are part of the image and can only be downloaded as an image.

1, partial download

If you want to download a piece of text in a web page, just press and hold the mouse to select these words, "copy" -> "paste" operation That's it. You must open a receiving program in advance, such as the Notepad program that comes with Windows, or the WordPad program. They are easy to use and take up very little system resources.

As for the method of "copying" -> "paste" operation, you can use the right mouse button, keyboard shortcuts, window menu bar, etc., I will not introduce it carefully here.

Some pages have code added, and readers are not allowed to perform "copy" operations. At this time, we need to get the text we want through the source code. From the "View" item in the browser window menu bar, select the "View Source File" command (Figure 1). After execution, you will see a Notepad program window full of characters. The source code of the web page is shown here. The text you want is all here, just copy them.

Can't find? It's ok. Click the "F3" button and use the "Find" window to search for it.

Figure 1

The webpage text obtained by this method sometimes contains some source code, open the WordPad program, and replace or delete the code.

2, full page download

With the "copy" -> "paste" operation can also be downloaded the entire page, but there are more convenient methods. Click the "File" option in the menu bar of the browser window, execute the "Save As" command, save the web page directly to the corresponding file, you can choose HTML, TXT format. If you need to open the saved file directly, you can see what you want. If it is in HTML format, it will be automatically opened by the browser; if it is in TXT format, it will be opened by Notepad.

Note: The "Webpage, All" option will save all the data on this page, including the text, which is equivalent to copying this page to your computer. (Figure 2)

Second, save the picture

We usually see a lot of beautiful colors on the page, usually processed with a picture substrate. It is also a very common way to express a page by writing a text directly in the picture and then adding a hyperlink to the target. All of these images can be saved.

To determine if the target is a picture, just click the right mouse button in the corresponding area and display the "Save Picture As" item. (Fig. 3)

Fig. 3

Right click on the picture and select the "Save Picture As" command to save the picture to the place you want to put it.

You can also select the image first and then perform the "Copy" -> "Paste" operation. Similarly, to have a photo editing program to receive, I like to use the Windows drawing program, the operation is simple, and the speed is fast.

There are some constantly changing images, we call them dynamic images, mainly GIF format (of course, not all GIF images are dynamic, nor all dynamic images are GIF), it can also Save directly in the same way as saving a normal picture.

How to distinguish GIF images? Right click on the image and select the "Properties" command. You can see that the "Type" item is a "GIF" image. (Figure 4) The author's experience: the change is relatively rough, and the connection is not consistent enough is GIF.

III. Saving sounds and images

Some websites provide links to sounds or images. When you want to download a song or a movie, directly point the link to the link, right-click the right mouse button, execute the "Save Target As" command, and select the address to store. (Figure 5)

Figure 5

Note: This method is only applicable to HTML static web pages under the HTTP protocol. You can see the details of this link by looking at the image properties as described above. A link of the form "http://.../1xp.mp3" is a link in the form of HTTP. If it is a link like http://www.***.com/music/222.asp?id=791&name=**###", it is a link to an interactive web page, and you cannot download it in this way. In addition, many voices and movies are not transmitted using the HTTP protocol but by MMS, RTSP, etc., and are only processed by special software such as flashget or video tape. This is a limitation of the system itself.

There are some sounds that sound when pointing to a certain place on the page, and they can also be collected. If the web designer sets the settings for these sound files first, you can find them directly from your hard drive. See the “Save Flash” section below. If you can't find it on your hard drive, they are not loaded first, so you can download it with special software. For example, if you want to save the sound that sounds when you point back to “Home”, open the source of the webpage. File, find the word "back to the home page", and then look around these three words, there is no shape like "<EMBED NAME='CS1107671455827' SRC='http://....../.......wav' LOOP= False></EMBED>" encoding. Where "http: //....../.......wav" is the address of this sound file. Add it to the new task window of the professional software to download.

Fourth, save flash

flash is At present, the popular webpage dynamic effect implementation method is small in size and rich in expressiveness, and has good performance. It can also add audio information, which is very popular. It is a pleasure to watch some very elaborate flashes. It can't be saved directly, no matter whether it is right click or menu.

But we have the same way to get the desired flash. When opening a webpage, the system first reads the data from the web server. Save it on your computer (this is often heard in the IE cache), and then use the browser to open, to ensure the speed of browsing. So you can see the flash must have been saved, you just open the storage Folder (IE cache directory), take it out.

Take WindowsXp as an example, all the pages visited by the user Administrator exist "C:\\Documents and Settings \\Administrator\\Local Settings\\Temporary Internet Files" directory. Open this directory, sort by file type, and you will find all the flash files soon (Figure 6), then double-click to open it and find it. (If you can A player that continuously plays multiple flash files will certainly be more convenient to check. After the check, copy directly to the place you want to store.

Figure 6

Careful readers will find that the web pages, pictures, and some sound files mentioned above can be found in this directory. It's all right, but they are relatively large. If you don't pay attention to cleaning up the IE cache, you can count up to thousands of them. It is very laborious to find. It is not recommended. In addition, very large audio and video files are not downloaded to the IE cache directory beforehand.

V. Saving other files

If the hyperlink points to a file stored in the background and the browser cannot be opened directly, click on the link and they will be downloaded automatically.

But it's best to save it with the "Save Target As" command mentioned above, which will ensure that the link is fully effective. In addition, there are some download acceleration software (such as Mini Thunder) embedded in IE, and the speed is not slower than using multi-threaded download software. The specific method will not be described again. You can go to the software download site, e-book download site to try, these sites provide a lot of direct download files.
