The method is as follows:

If there is no RecoveredFrom, you can create a new one. Then create a new DWORD (32-bit) value called the new preview version number in the right window. For example, if you don't want to automatically upgrade to Win10 Preview Build 10049, create a DWORD (32-bit) value named 10049, and then Set the value data of this value to 1. This way the current Win10 preview will not be automatically updated to the Build 10049 preview.
If you want to restore the automatic update preview version later, just delete the created DWORD (32-bit) value.
But this method can't be done once and for all. Microsoft has to set up the updated preview version again, but it can only be used at the moment.
