How to add an application icon on the Win10 desktop to display our commonly used icon

Right click on the Win10 system desktop blank and select Personalize on the popup menu, as shown below.

Click on the Change Desktop icon on the left side of the Personalize window, as shown below.

Click to pop up the desktop icon settings dialog box, here you can set the display Win10 desktop icon, as shown below.

Check the desktop icon you want to display on the Win10 desktop, then click OK. As shown below.

After the Win10 desktop icon is set, you can see the desktop icon we displayed on the Win10 desktop, as shown below.
