Win7/Win8.1 upgrade Win10 C1900101-30018 error solution

  
Some Win7/Win8.1 users encountered a C1900101-30018 error during the installation of Win10 using Windows Update, which caused the upgrade. Foreign forum users also said that they encountered the same problem and gave a solution. Many users indicated that the method is effective.

this program is used in the "Command Prompt" tool, as follows:
1, run the "command prompt" as administrator, enter CMD in the Start menu or Start screen search box , then right click in the results and select "Run as administrator".
2, close the four services BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and Windows Update, the command is as follows (press each line after each command input):
net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptSvc
Net stop bits
net stop msiserver
3. Rename the SoftwareDistribution and Catroot2 folders. The command is as follows (press each command after each command input):
ren C:WindowsSoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
ren C: WindowsSystem32catroot2 Catroot2.old
4. Restart the BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and Windows Update services. The commands are as follows (press each line after each command input):
net start wuauserv< Br> net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver
5. Execute the exit command to close the command prompt and restart the computer.
At this point, try to upgrade Windows 10 again, the error may have been resolved.
