Win7

can be used without installing "copy".

We usually install Win7 through Win7 installation CD, but the installation speed of the installation CD is slow, and the installation CD is not easy to carry, it is easy to damage, if you want It’s a hassle to help others install the system or install multiple computers at the same time! In fact, the system installation can be simpler ——“copy”

System“Copy" ImageX to help

Why doesn't the system need to be installed, just need to copy ” In fact, the Sources directory of the Win7 installation CD has a file called “install.wim”, which includes one or more operating systems that have already been installed. In other words, Microsoft has actually installed the operating system. We just use ImageX to copy the installed system from the CD-ROM to the hard disk, and then configure the boot entry for the operating system that is copied & rdquo; Can complete the installation of the system, it is so simple!

Master Dong Tip: Pure copying and pasting is of course not possible, which is why you should use ImageX. ImageX will automatically decompress the content we need in the “install.wim” file during the "copy" process.

Also, using ImageX requires manual formatting of the hard disk partition before the operation. If the hard disk does not yet have a partition, start it with WinPE CD, use the application on the CD (such as DiskGenius) to partition the hard disk, set the C drive as the active primary partition and format all the partitions. If the hard disk is already partitioned, format the C drive.

However, using the original ImageX program to run in a DOS environment, and to enter some DOS commands, this is too "for the average user". It doesn't matter, we can use another software ——“ImageX one-click recovery" (also called "GGhost one-click recovery"), which has integrated ImageX. Through it, the entire operation process can be completed in the graphical interface, the user only needs to click the mouse as needed.

Copy the operation and click the mouse to complete

After the disk partition is completed, start the “Recovery on the hard disk” in WinPE with “ImageX One-Click Recovery”, and select the “Partition Recovery” button after running. As shown in Figure 1).

The recovery partition defaults to "local disk (C:)", generally do not need to change, select the image file, locate the Win7 installation disk (I use the Win7 five-in-one installation disk, the CD-ROM drive letter is “O”) file “O:\\sources\\install.wim” (If there is an ISO image of the installer in the system, it is recommended to use the virtual CD-ROM software to load, so the operation is faster), click on the right side of the image file The drop-down list, you can see that there are 5 image files, that is, 5 Win7 versions, select the 5th ——“No. 5 Windows 7 ULTIMATE", which is Win7 Ultimate (as shown in Figure 2).

Next, you only need to follow the prompts, step by step, and finally click the "Restore" button to extract the flagship version to the C drive. The whole process of copying is very fast, and the time is also very short, much faster than normal installation. Next, we will do a little bit of finishing work and it will be OK.

Fixing the boot Auto-complete according to the prompt

A prompt window will appear after the copy is completed, prompting “If the boot sector has no boot information after recovery, the system may not be able to start. Is the boot information for [C:] fixed with the following parameters? & rdquo;, at this time must click & ldquo; is & rdquo; repair (as shown in Figure 3).

After the operation is completed, copy the files in the root directory of the Win7 installation CD (or image file) in the WinPE directory to the directory root of the C drive.

Now, there is already a Win7 system in the C drive. If it starts, it will prompt an error. It doesn't matter, use the Win7 installation CD to start the computer. When you go to the “Install Now” step, select the interface below. “Repair the computer” (as shown in Figure 4), then select “fix and restart & rdquo;, you can quickly complete the repair and automatically restart. At this point, the CD is removed and the system can boot from the hard disk.

After the computer restarts, just like running the system for the first time, update the registry settings, start the service, install the device … …

using this method, from copying the system files to successfully entering The desktop, which took less than 15 minutes in total, saves half the time compared to traditional CD-ROM installations (faster if you use Win7 image files)! All you need to do is a WinPE CD (or WinPE flash drive), a Win7 CD (or Win7 system image file) and "ImageX One Click Recovery" software.

One-click recovery ImageX is more secure

In fact, many times, we help others to install computers mainly because they don’t know how to install or repair them, but if they can make their computers have many brand machines "One-click restore" function, isn't that convenient? So even if there is a problem with
, they can do it themselves!

Compared with Ghost, “ImageX One-Click Recovery” has an incremental backup function, smaller backup files, shorter backup time, and easy update. In addition, because all operations are performed in a visual environment, the operation is very difficult and can be done smoothly by ordinary users. This point has been mentioned in the previous article. For more detailed operation methods, you can refer to the newspaper of the 17th issue of Computer Newspaper 2010.

The main problem with Ghost is that it may recover to the original backup state when it is restored, and ordinary users may not understand the operation, which may cause the user to restore the system. Important documents or information lost during this period, causing unnecessary losses. However, the use of ImageX's incremental backup feature will not have such problems, but also minimize the risk of ordinary users' own operations.

Dong Shifu Tip: In layman's terms, ImageX's incremental backup function is like this: For the first backup, ImageX will compress all the files of the target disk into the specified image file. In the second backup, ImageX will check the files that have been backed up in the image file. If the file has not been changed, it does not need to be backed up. Different files are additionally added with a backup. The original backup file is still retained. The list of file locations, when recovering, according to the records of the list, the restored content is different, so that the user is more convenient and safer to operate.

This article is still taking advantage of "ImageX OneKey Recovery" as an example. Start with the WinPE CD, start the “ImageX One-Click Recovery” on the hard disk, and click the “Partition Backup” button. The backup type has "new backup [fast, low compression]", "new backup [slow, high compression] & rdquo; and "incremental backup", if it is the first backup, generally choose the default "New backup [fast, low compression] & rdquo;, partition selection & ldquo; local disk (C) & rdquo; can be (as shown in Figure 5).
