How to make Win10 system desktop load faster

The Win8 system defaults to the start screen, so Microsoft uses a startup delay feature to defer desktop applications, which is meaningful on Win8. However, on the Win10 system, the desktop becomes the first boot interface, then we can disable this boot delay feature to improve the desktop load speed on the Win10 system.

How to disable Win10 startup delay

In the first step, click on the Start menu and type "regedit" in the search box. In the options that appear above, click on the top result. You can also enter "regedit" in the run command input box and press Enter. The effect is the same.

The second step, in the registry editor interface, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindows CurrentVersionExplorer, click on the Explorer project, see if there is any project named Serialize below, if any, click to select; if not, click Select the Explorer project, right-click menu, point to "New", click on the item in the submenu, and then name the item "Serialize".

Step 3, click to select the Serialize item, right click in the blank space of the right window, right click menu, point to “New”, and click “DWORD Value (32 bit) in the secondary menu. ", and name the item "StartupDelayInMSec", double-click to open the edit dialog box for this value, set the value data to the hexadecimal value "0", and then confirm the exit!

After the setting operation, the startup speed of some startup projects on the Win10 desktop will be improved to a certain extent, especially when the startup project of your Win10 system is more, the effect will be more obvious. You may wish to give it a try.
