Because Windows XP Mode and other virtual machines were previously installed on Windows Virtual PC, and Windows Virtual PC does not provide export functionality, it is a bit of a hassle to recover Windows XP Mode and other virtual machines after reinstalling the system, if you reinstall Windows XP Mode and the application software under it is a nightmare!
It turns out that gOxiA is complicated. It is very simple to import an existing Windows Virtual PC virtual machine.
First, visit the Microsoft website to download Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode, and install them one by one. Then open the Windows Virtual PC program directory through the Start menu and open the directory where your virtual machine is stored.

OK, after completing the above operation, find the virtual machine configuration file in the virtual machine storage directory <;vmcx” After selecting it, click the left mouse button and drag it to Virtual Machines. As shown below:

It should be noted that the configuration file must be .vmcx or invalid!
Be sure to copy the vmcx file in the Virtual PC directory to another backup location before re-doing the system.
