How to use telnet service in Windows 7

  

win7 does not install the telnet command by default, Microsoft should do this for security reasons. So how to use telnet service in windows 7 system?
1. Installation: Click “Start”→“Control Panel”→“Program”,“In Programs and Functions” Find and click "Open or Close Windows Features" to enter the Windows Features Settings dialog. Find and tick & ldquo; Telnet client & rdquo; & & quo Telnet server & rdquo; finally & ldquo; OK & rdquo; wait a moment to complete the installation.
2, start the service: & nbsp; start & rdquo; & rar;; run & rdquo;, enter servcies.msc to open the service manager. Find and double-click the Telnet service item, set its startup mode to "manually" (more secure, only when needed), and finally "start" & rdquo; the service & ldquo; OK & rdquo; exit.
3, hidden reasons: In fact, not found in the service manager Telnet is not Windows 7 abandoned Telnet, but by default Windows 7 does not install Telnet service. This is the first time Microsoft has removed Telnet from the personal system out of the system default components, similar to Windows Server 2008. After all, Telnet data is transmitted in clear text, and attackers and easily get sensitive information through sniffing. Based on security considerations, it is recommended that you use a more secure, encrypted SSH remote management method.
