How much hard disk space is required to install Win7

Installed Windows 7 Ultimate, C disk is divided into 40G, installed system drivers and loopholes used 11G, but also 29G more. Not counting virtual memory, just installed computer generally said that Windows 7 requires at least 40G space, is this true? The new computer hard drive has not changed 80G. There are more C disks, and other disks can be used.
Experts answer:
Approximately 30 ~ 35G hard drive can fully install Windows 7 system.

smallest 15G can select the system partition, but to do so requires a series of hard disk space occupied optimize the system, closing some caching function to avoid a system disk system put to sleep like stuffed cause Crash or system crash.
SSDs are mostly used as system disks, but the capacity is relatively small. In order to save capacity, there are some columns of optimized operations, which are also applicable to mechanical hard disks.
If the physical memory capacity has reached 4GB or more, the virtual memory can be turned down or turned off.
