What can I do if I can't wake up after Win7 sleep?

First, check whether the hardware supports
1, start -> In the search program and file box, type cmd -> Enter.

2. A window to open a command is displayed. Type powercfg -a in it and press Enter.

3, the results of the operation we look at:
We interpret the above results. This shows Standby (S3) to indicate that your machine supports sleep.
If your hardware does not support sleep, you may need to contact your computer manufacturer to upgrade the BIOS. By the way, most of the newly purchased computer hardware can basically meet the requirements of computer sleep.

2. Check which devices can wake up the computer
1. If the command window is closed, open it again. Start -> Put cmd -> in the search program and file box.
Then type PowerCfg -DEVICEQUERY wake_armed and press Enter.

2. The results of the operation we look at:
We interpret the above results. There are two things that can wake up the machine in the current situation, and we mark them with A and B. A is a mouse device, indicating that the mouse can wake up the machine. B is a network card, indicating that the machine can also wake up from the network (this is generally only used in corporate environments).
If the mouse device is not listed, the machine cannot be woken up with the mouse. We need to turn on the wake-up function (continue to see below).

Three, open the device wake-up function
1, start -> In the search program and file box, type "Device Manager" -> Enter.

2. After the device manager is opened, a list of devices will be listed. Find a mouse that corresponds to your mouse, right click on the property.

3. Click on the Power Management tab and enable the device to wake up the computer, then press OK to exit.
