Win7 system how to turn off automatic update restart prompt

  
1. Click the “Start” or “win+R” key combination and enter gpedit.msc—— to open the local group policy.

2. On the left side of Local Group Policy, expand Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components. Scroll your mouse to Windows Update.

3. Double-click "For the logged in user, the scheduled automatic update installation does not perform the restart" option, set in the properties window, the default is "not configured", select below "ld" Start & rdquo;. Click OK to exit the local Group Policy Editor. When Windows installs the update again, the reboot prompt will no longer appear.
