If your Windows 7 system has an external network connection, and also With a prescribed Wi-Fi device, it can be turned into a Wi-Fi base station with a simple command.
This feature seems to have been hidden and has not been developed yet, it is estimated that the compatibility of the device and the driver is not resolved, but we can test it out:
Start the command line prompt in administrator mode , then enter
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=Hotspot key=passwordhere
Use the following command to start the base station function
netsh wlan start hostednetwork
after running the command, you can set the network and share Inside, I saw a "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter" device.
Set up sharing in the Sharing tab, then you can access the machine with a wireless device, the current function does not seem to be powerful.
