More secure, limit Windows 7 disk space and prevent hacking

Are you also worried about the mad invasion of hackers? First of all, we understand that in most cases, hacking remote systems must upload Trojans or backdoors to remote systems. In addition to anti-virus software, this malicious intrusion can also pass the Win7 system with higher security and the system. Disk quotas to strengthen prevention! Here's how to share the specific implementation:

First, the principle of prevention

Win7 system has a "disk quota" function for NTFS partitions, it can be NTFS Disk space is limited. For example, except for yourself, other login users are allowed to use only how much space, refuse to allow other users to write files of a certain size, and so on.

Using this principle, we can make a limit and use the method of "No other users except ourselves can write files to the target partition" to prevent hackers from remotely placing Trojans on us. In the system. This is actually equivalent to a "automatically restore card", any file writes made by the user to the system will be invalid.

Second, the configuration process

Understand this precautionary principle, the next configuration is much simpler. Generally, we mainly perform security protection on the partition where the system is located (must be NTFS partition), so you can configure it as follows:

STEP1: Right click on the installation partition where your system is located, select &ldquo ;Properties” command to enter; then switch to the "quota" tab item and click the "display quota setting" button below, as shown in Figure 1.

STEP2: Under the “Quotas” configuration dialog shown in Figure 2, first check “Enable quota management” ” and “ refuse to give disk space to users exceeding the quota limit "; then select the "disk space limit" item, and then set the size of the user's disk space in the system, such as 10KB. So if the user passes in a file larger than 1000KB in this partition, the file will be rejected by the system and cannot be smoothly transferred to the partition.
