How to prevent Win7 from automatically installing drivers

Many people who use the win7 system don't like the system to automatically install the driver. What should we do? Let's take a look at the specific operation method.
Click the Start button and type <;Devices & Printers" in the Start Search box, then click Open.

This window contains all the devices connected to the current computer. This includes monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, and more.
Locate the mouse on the icon representing the computer.
Note that the name of the icon is not our usual “computer”, but the full name of the computer on the network. If you don't know the computer name, open the Start menu and right-click on “Computer” and select “Properties”. Details can be seen in the system window.
Locate the mouse on the icon representing the computer, right-click and select <;Device Security Settings”.

A new window pops up asking if you want Windows to download drivers for your device. We choose the second "No, let me choose the action to be performed”. After that, more options will pop up. We chose the third option to prevent automatic installation of the driver.
<;Always install the best driver software from Windows Update> is the system default option and the most convenient. The second option, “install from Windows Update when the driver software is not found on my computer, is more conservative than the first option and safer. The last one, "Never install driver software from Windows Update", refuses to automatically install the driver, which is the safest.

After the selection is over, don't forget to click “Save Changes”. At this time, the User Account Control window will pop up, click “Allow” to confirm the operation, all settings will be completed.
