Solve the problem of Windows7 student key error

  

According to foreign media reports, the US software online sales company Digital River sold Windows7 professional student version (for some national college students of the preferential Windows7 Professional Edition) product activation key problem.

It is reported that when the user installs Windows 7 Professional, the system will prompt the user to enter the product key. However, after the user enters the original key, the system will prompt that the input key is invalid.

Win7 Professional Student Edition will see the following error message:

Code: 0xC004F061

Description: The Software Licensing Service has determined that this product key can only be used for upgrades. Used for net installation.

Microsoft's official technical support forum has announced the relevant solutions:

Do not enter the product key installation system. After the installation is complete, click [Start] [Run] and enter REGEDIT.

In the registry, select:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Setup/OOBE/

Double-click "MediaBootInstall" on the right (media boot installation) ), change the value "1" to "0". Close the registry.

Select [Start] [All Programs] [Accessories], enter the Command Prompt window, select [Run as Manager]

Enter the following command line: slmgr /rearm. Click the Enter button. Wait for the "Command has been successfully executed" dialog box to appear.

Close the command line window and restart the computer -

Right-click [My Computer] and select [Properties]. Select Change product key and enter the original key. The system will be activated
