Safety first - XP/Vista's autorun feature will also be cancelled

It is reported that Microsoft is planning to cancel some of its autorun features for each operating system. In the near future, mobile storage devices such as flash drives that are plugged into a PC will not automatically run when connected to a PC. The only thing that can be retained by the autorun function is on the disc carrier. According to the survey, the probability of the disc being infected by the virus is much smaller than that of the flash disc.

Soft always claims that its autorun function is safe, but there has been a constant spread of virus software through this feature. Although disabling this auto-run feature may cause problems for some computer whites, Microsoft is still determined to disable this feature in Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP operating systems.
