Fix Windows 7 blue screen

due to security update

There are many Windows 7 beta users reflected in these two days. After installing the latest update of Windows Update push, the blue screen of death (BSOD) is encountered at startup, and the error message shows kl1. The sys file is missing (a failure on kl1.sys).

Based on the information collected, this issue is most likely caused by a conflict with Kaspersky Anti-Virus components.

There is currently a simple solution to cancel Kaspersky startup with the system.

The steps are as follows:

1. Press F8 to enter the security mode menu after booting. It is recommended to try the security mode with network support first. If not, try the networkless security mode again.

2. When you have successfully entered safe mode, click on the Start menu, select “Run”, enter msconfig to open the System Configuration window.

3. Switch to the fourth “Start” tab and remove the checkbox from the "Startup Project".

After rebooting, reboot the system. After entering the system normally, you can manually run the Kaspersky main program and set it to not start with the system.

If you want to use Kaspersky properly under Windows 7, you can use Kaspersky's technology preview for Windows 7.
