Windows 7: Activate OLE8 cursor browsing mode

E8 under Windows 7 can be said to be quite easy to use, but you may not notice the cursor browsing mode (Caret Browsing). After entering this mode, a similar notebook will appear in the current page. With the input cursor, we can complete the text selection very accurately, which is quite convenient.

By default, the cursor browsing mode is turned off and we need to enable it manually. Press the F7 function key, a dialog box will appear, select “Enable the Insert Cursor Browsing” check box for new windows and tabs, and the confirmation will take effect. When you need to select the exact content on the current page, first click on the mouse at the beginning, then there will be an input cursor that we are very familiar with. At this time, the cursor that we are familiar with will be displayed, and then press and hold. The “Shift” key on the keyboard, and then click the mouse again at the end, you can complete the precise text selection as in Word, without the need to drag the mouse, which is much more convenient.
