Mysterious features shared by Windows 7 and Vista

  

According to foreign media reports, in fact, Windows 7 is an upgraded version of Windows Vista, and the two operating systems successfully shared a consistent amount of resources — — Vista Bridge Sample Library 1.3. In this regard, Microsoft issued a statement that Vista Bridge Sample Library 1.3 is a feature specifically designed for Windows Vista to scale to Windows 7 in a scalable manner. This feature not only ensures compatibility of Windows Vista with software applications and hardware products, but also optimizes the platform for programming models.

A Microsoft spokesperson said: "This Vista Bridge Sample Library 1.3 (VBSL) is a bridge between the Microsoft SDK team to graft the .NET framework to the native Windows API. The SDK team has been working tirelessly for this project. VBSL is a class library that makes it easier for developers to gain access to the hidden features of Windows Vista without worrying about the Interop layer. & rdquo;

Vista Bridge Sample Library 1.3 is developed by developers based on the .NET framework. In fact, many of the features provided by Vista are not included in the runtime environment —— this is the source code component of the Vista Bridge Sample Library 1.3, including Vista's style toolbar and file dialog, common opening and saving Dialogs, known folders, network lists, command link controls, aeronautical wizard controls, system-provided icons, and more. It is reported that all of these functions can be completely opened through the library project. In addition, these features are included in both the Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.

A Microsoft spokesperson added: "Vista Bridge 1.3 provides developers with a set of courses, libraries and samples written in .NET, allowing developers to take advantage of Vista's hidden features, including UAC. Features, power management, reboot and auto-recovery, reboot manager, network management, aviation wizard and many other features. Most importantly, all of the library features managed by Vista Bridge work well with the Windows 7 API. In the future, the SDK team will continue to develop and support this project. ”
