Windows 7 will continue to strengthen system security features

The security features of Windows 7 are the focus of everyone's attention. Microsoft's Windows 7 beta released in PDC 2008 has already demonstrated this.

According to reports, Microsoft will integrate ten different Windows security features in the control panel, including Security Center, Windows Defender and UAC. This control panel item is called Action Center. Microsoft will also allow users to adjust UAC behavioral alerts, but will still be alert to malware.

Microsoft also said that Windows 7 will further increase device security, such as extending BitLocker's encryption support to mobile storage devices (such as USB flash drives), allowing users to manage and control biometric login data and more adjustment systems. Restore strategy, kernel patch protection for Windows Vista, service hardening, data execution protection, randomization of address space layout, enhancements to third-party firewall support, etc.
