Retrieve the video preview function in Windows 7 Explorer

Is it useful to use the preview function in Windows 7 Explorer? At least, this preview is very useful for many hard drives who like to collect all kinds of videos.

However, one day, after we installed the external video and audio playback software such as XX player and XX video, we were surprised to find that we can only preview one picture, but can no longer preview the window. Play directly in!

God, our newly installed pure Windows 7 system can be previewed directly in the library or explorer mode! Really, these third-party software support many formats, but they can't destroy such useful system functions.

Repeated testing, the results: video files such as RMVB, VOB and other formats, Windows7 is always unable to preview playback directly, and Windows Media Player 12 can be played directly (ie no need to download the decoder) The file of the video file) can only be previewed after the third-party player is installed.

Therefore, we infer that this is caused by the type restrictions supported by Windows 7 for the default file format of the video. At present, Microsoft officially only supports the AVI decoding format that it publishes. For the file format supported by other third-party decoders, or for copyright reasons, Windows 7 does not support it by default, so even if the user is installing. After the corresponding decoder, the system still does not support it.

But for AVI and WMV files, our solution to restore preview is simpler: users can associate avi or wmv files after installing third-party "XX player and XX video". Re-edit back to the system default Windows Media Player 12. Steps to say? Right click menu on the file, open the way, just set it up.
