The taskbar thumbnail preview is a great application for Win7's unique Aero Peek. When you hover over the taskbar icon, the thumbnail preview window opens to help the user quickly find what they want to open.

The operation interface has been based on the "friendly and easy to use" principle. On this basis, today Xiaobian will share a little trick with you: adjust the size of the preview window as needed.

Let's teach everyone how to use the Rubik's Cube optimization master, open the landscaping master in the Rubik's Cube optimization master, select “Taskbar & Notification Area”, just modify the pixel value of the preview bar window preview size it is okay!

If you like to do it yourself and challenge yourself, then I will share another method of operation.

Note: The operations mentioned below will involve the modification of the registry. Modifying the registry has certain risks. Improper modification may result in system instability. Please be cautious.

Open the Start menu, in the Start Search box, type “regedit.exe”, press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

If a user account control window pops up, press “yes  continue.

Locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Taskband

Right-click on the space on the right and select “New”〉“DWORD (32-bit) value”.

Then name it "MinThumbSizePx”."

Next, double-click the newly created “MinThumbSizePx” value. Select “Bases" as “decimal”. Numerical data can be determined by yourself depending on the situation. The default preview window size is about 230 pixels, so you can adjust it up and down. For example, in this article we set it to 300 pixels and zoom in on the window.

Press “OK”. Then exit the registry. You can see the effect by restarting the computer. Is it getting bigger?

Want to get back to the original? That's also simple, just delete the newly created registry value!
