Win7 can't choose the solution of the custom program in the open mode

1. Take a PDF file with a .pdf extension as an example. No application is currently associated with this file.

2. Double-click the “Open with” dialog box and there is no application you want to use.

3, click “Browse (B)…” After selecting the application you want, the application list still does not appear ……

4, open the registry editor Device. (Please note that you can back up your current registry to avoid unexpected situations!)

5, find  HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/FileExts/.pdf (here corresponds to your current file suffix Here, take .pdf as an example) ” as shown in the figure below, delete the registry key value other than “(default)” and “UserChoice”.

6. Close the Registry Editor. Double-click the file you want to open, browse to and select the application you want to use in the Open With dialog box.
