1. Open the "Control Panel", set the "View Mode" to "Small Icon", then find and click "Internet Options".

2, click "Change adapter settings" in the window that opens.

3, in the window that opens, right-click "local connection" in the pop-up menu, select "Properties."

4, find the "Internet Protocol Version (TCP /IPv4)" in the open "Local Area Connection Properties" window, double-click.

5, in the open "Internet Protocol Version (TCP /IPv4) Properties" window, check the "Use the following IP address" and enter the IP address and subnet mask, default gateway entry box Enter the default gateway address and finally click "OK" to complete the setup.

6, test gateway. Open the "Run" dialog and enter the command "CMD" to open the MSDOS window. Then enter the command "ping 192.168.1.1 -t" in the window. If the information shows that the data was successfully received, the default gateway configuration is successful.
