Disk management for hard disk partitioning under Windows 7

  
First, open the Control Panel----Administrative Tools----Computer Management----Disk Management, the unassigned disk in the new hard disk is built right----select new simple volume. Disk partitioning, then click Next. In this step, fill in the disk size that needs to create a new partition.

Then click Next. In this step, fill in the disk size that needs to create a new partition. Edit it here and divide it into a 250G partition. Enter 250000MB on the red box and click Next.

is then branched off to the new disk, for Drive letter assignment, the default is OK. If you want to replace it, click the red box to replace it, then click Next to enter the disk format. In this step, the volume label can be left blank or named, other defaults, click Next.

A new H-disk appeared.

Tip: 250G said earlier to divide a disc, why only show 244G it here, it is because the capacity size just entered 250000MB not of 250G . Then we open my computer and look at it, and we will see one more disc that has just been separated. In addition, using the disk management tool that comes with Windows7 to partition the hard disk, it will not cause data loss, error, etc., and it is very clean and there will be no junk files.
