We just contacted Windows7. We don't know how much Windows 7 partition needs, how to adjust the system partition after installation. Because we are not familiar with Windows 7 partition program, even the whole hard disk is one. Partitioned. The following is the author's experience in adjusting the partition obtained in computer maintenance, to explain the use of Windows 7 comes with the software to complete the partition, create, expand work.

The first step: to enter the System Management Interface

to find the computer in the start menu /right-click on the computer Select Manage/Enter Disk Management in Storage.

Second Step: Compressing Existing Partitions

Locate the hard disk you need to adjust and you can see a graphical partition diagram. Right click on the partition to be reduced /select compressed volume /software will automatically calculate the size that can be compressed, if the compressible value is relatively small, it is best to defragment /enter a compressed value, click on the compression. After the operation is completed, unallocated space will appear at the back of the original partition.

Step 3: Create a new partition

Right-click on the unallocated space and select New Simple Volume/Follow Wizard to enter the volume once. Click the button to complete the parameters such as size (partition capacity), drive letter, and partition format. Friendly reminder, it is recommended to check the quick format to speed up the formatting.

Step Four: resize partitions

Windows 7 built-in disk partition management can also resize. Compress as well as partitioning, then right click on the next volume and select Expand Volume. However, this extension is a bit weak and can only extend partitions between unallocated spaces.

Step 5: Create an extended partition

In Windows 7 disk management, you can't directly create an extended partition, if you want to create an extension separately. The partition must be done using the diskpart command. In fact, I don't think it is necessary to create an extended partition specifically in Windows 7. When the number of created partitions is greater than 3, the system will automatically convert the partition into an extended + logical partition.
