2 solutions that Windows8 app store can't open

The app store won't open. It is recommended that you try to rename the Software Distribution folder:

Press Win + X, click “Command Prompt (Administrator)”;

In the open black window, execute:

Enter: net stop wuauserv, press Enter (this will remind the service to stop);

Enter: ren %windir%SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old, Enter;

Enter: net start wuauserv, enter (here will remind the service to open).

Once you've done this, try reopening the app store.

If the problem persists, please try the following steps to reset DNS:

Log in to the computer with an administrator account;

Move to the lower left corner, right click and select &ldquo ;Control Panel>-“Network and Internet>-“Network and Sharing Center

Click on “Change Adapter Settings in the left navigation bar

For the current network connection (local or broadband connection), select “Properties>;

Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", click “Properties";

In the Open Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, select “Use the following DNS server> for manual setup;
