How to set up Win7 system to read only specific U disk

Whenever someone else's USB flash drive is plugged into your computer, do you think this way? "Does his USB flash drive have a virus?" Xiaobian often thinks this way, but he is too embarrassed not to borrow, recently Xiaobian learned that a way to get my Win7 system to read only my specific USB flash drive. Here just like to share under the bar:

1: U disk before his own win7 inserted into the system, so that the system can be used normally U disk, then enter the & ldquo; & rdquo ;, the Control Panel, double-click & ldquo ; Device Manager & rdquo;, expand inside "Portable Devices", you can see your U disk inside.

2: Click the right mouse button to select “property", click the “details" label in the pop-up "property" window, and then in the device"properties” drop down box In the selection "hardware ID", the following "value" will appear in the string, this is the hardware ID of your U disk, copy it and save it.

3: Also need to copy the hardware ID of the "Universal Serial Bus Controller" in the "Ultra-Serial Serial Bus Controller", in the "Device Manager" and expand the "Universal Serial" Bus Controller & rdquo; list, find "USB Mass Storage Device", click on the "Details" tab in its "Properties" window, copy its hardware ID and save it.

4: After finding the hardware ID of the USB flash drive, it can be implemented through Group Policy. “Start →Run”Enter“Gpedit.msc”Open the Group Policy window, expand “Computer Configuration →Management Templates & Rarr; System & Rarr; Device Installation & Rarr; Device Installation Restrictions, double click on the right side It is forbidden to install devices that are not described by other policy settings. In the pop-up window, select “Enabled”, and then click the “OK” button to set it to disable USB devices that are not described by the policy.

After this setting, I am no longer afraid that someone else will insert the USB flash drive into the usb interface of the notebook, because the computer will not read it at all! Haha~~ Even if your system is upgraded, this method can also be used.
