Uniform Word file content format search and replace to help you busy

Find and replace function is a more common editing processing method in Word software, we can not only use it to replace text, but also can replace special characters, such as removing documents Unwanted extra symbols, etc. In fact, the format class element is also an indispensable factor in the Word search and replace function. If you can easily find and replace the document format, it can make our work easier. The following will introduce you to the application of finding and replacing the format of the contents of the unified Word file.

In daily work, I often need to cut a piece of text from other documents and paste it into the document currently in use. As a result, the fonts, fonts, and font sizes of the text in the work document are often varied. Sometimes, in order to save trouble, I often press "Ctrl+A”" to unify the fonts of all the characters into one. However, in this way, even the font of the title has changed. Is there any way to change the text only? Fonts and glyphs, but let the title remain the same?

A of course there are ways, but it is really difficult to figure out this method. The specific steps are as follows:

1) Press Ctrl and H at the same time to bring up the “Find and Replace” dialog box, click ““Advanced” button;

2)Use mouse Click the “Find content:” text box, then click the "format” button in the lower left corner to select "style" one;

3) Select in the "Find styles" “Normal”, then click “OK" button;

4) Use the mouse to click “replace with:”text box, click the “special character” button, select &ldquo "Find content", you will find that <; replaced with: & rdquo; the text box automatically appears ^ & code, it represents the replacement of all found content;

5) Click the "format” button, select “style" one, set the lookup style to “Normal ", then click “OK" button;

6) again Click the “format” button to select “font”one, set what you want And body size. If you want to replace the unwanted bold or italic characters in the original file with regular glyphs, just set the >Glyphs” column to “General” Finally, click on the “OK” button (Figure 3).

When you click the "Replace All" button, all the normal glyphs in the original document will be replaced by the fonts of the glyphs and font sizes you set. Remember, you must first make a backup of the document. Once there is a mistake in the operation, there will be no loss (because the process is not to re-adjust the format of the document, but to delete the original content first, then change The text in the specified format).

As you know, the lookup and replacement functions in Word are quite powerful. Have you fully understood their role?
