How to remove redundant startup items from Win7 system

  

One computer installs the same Win7 system on the C and F disks respectively. After formatting the F disk, two boot options will still appear in the boot menu at the beginning. In fact, although the F disk is formatted, That is, the system in the F disk does not exist anymore, but the boot menu file located in the C disk is not modified, and the startup information of the dual system is still retained. The solution to the problem is to manually delete the redundant startup option, as follows:

First, open “ Startup and Recovery> dialog box

Right click on the “Computer” icon in the Win7 system and select “&ldquo” from the shortcut menu that pops up. ; Attributes & quoquo; command, in the pop-up window, click on the left side of the "advanced system settings", open the "system properties" dialog box click & ldquo; advanced & rdquo; - & ldquo; start and failure recovery rdquo;-“ Settings “, as shown in Figure 1

Second, enter the edit state

Open “ Startup and Recovery” In the box, click the "Edit" button to enter the editing state, as shown in Figure 2.

Note: This Win7 system has no obstacles. There is no "edit", XP users can click to see

Third, edit the startup item

The system will use the "Notepad" program to open the boot.ini file, will The extra code is deleted, only reserved
