Activate the pre-installed MSDN method installed on Windows 7

Computers pre-installed with Windows 7 generally use the Home Basic Edition. If you want to use a more advanced version, you may need to reinstall Windows 7. The MSDN source is a good choice. After installing MSDN Windows 7, you need to activate the system. In this case, you need two things ——key and certificate. These two things can be obtained by the search engine. The activation steps are described below.

Open a command prompt as an administrator and type

slmgr -ipk your key

Note that the key must correspond to the installed MSDN Windows 7 version. Waiting for you will see the following prompts,

Then enter

slmgr -ilc certification path

The certification path is the certificate storage location (eg D:/xxx .xrm-ms), then you will see a prompt to successfully install the license file,

At this point you will check the system properties and you will find that Windows is activated.
