Sony VAIO laptop Windows 8 changed to Windows 7
My model: E series SVE14A. 1. This series of models has been installed with Windows 8. If you want to install Windows 7, you must fully format the hard disk and re-partition. First copy the useful data out with a USB flash drive. If you still have a crush on Windows 8, please use it for a while, because you will never see annoying Windows 8 in the next step. 2. Shut down. Press the Assist button. 3. There will be an option to enter the BIOS on the screen. Choose to press Enter. 4. Find the Boot Mode item, which was originally UEFI, and changed it to Legacy. 5. At the bottom of the same screen, select Boot from Disc. (Optical Disk) 6. Put the Windows 7 installation disk into the CD-ROM drive, 32-bit or 64-bit. It must be a clean version of the installation disk, that is, step by step installation, only Win 7 on the CD, without any additional software. It must not be a Ghost version, a quick installer, a garden, a clone, or the like. 7. Press F4 on the BIOS screen and press Enter. (Save and restart) 8. Normally, you can enter the Windows 7 installation screen. If there is a problem with this step or any of the following steps, you can either try again a few times (I just tried several times to succeed), or change to a Win 7 installation disk and try again. 9. In the Win7 installation screen, the step of selecting the hard disk partition, no matter which partition you choose, will appear "Windows can not be installed to this disk. The selected disk is in GPT partition form & rdquo; error. 10. Press Shift+F10 on this screen. A black DOS command window will pop up. 11. Enter Diskpart and press Enter. Wait a few seconds, wait for the Diskpart to start, and the cursor appears. 12. Enter the following instructions. Press Enter every time you lose.
