Windows 7 beta trial experience

I originally wanted to name this article "Windows7 Trial Report", but I don't think I have much qualification to name it because I use XP most of the time, and vista has not been used in depth. Just knowing that Vista's UAC is annoying.

According to statistics, people's view of the use of XP accounted for the majority, so if you plan to upgrade later directly from XP to Win7, you can look at my experience.

, installation and initial feelings

yesterday took three hours to download the 32-bit Windows7 The mirror image, in the hard disk desperately squeeze out 30G space (actually does not need so much), then the disk is installed.

my computer's configuration is AMD3600 +, 2G, 250GSATA, 7600GT256M. The installation process took about 40 minutes. Windows7 comes with all the hardware drivers for my computer, so it can be used after installation.

This is Windows7 gave me the hardware rating:

based on my personal experience, the XP boot speed fairly, and start-up screen shining.

after the initial installation of Windows7 is the English version, you may need to download the Chinese package. After installation, the C drive was used for about 10G space, not too much, half less than the 20G that was circulated on the Internet.

aspects of early experience, Windows7 and Vista, like, UI do a shining, on my machine this classic full effect and no obvious Kalyan.

Second, the basic configuration of the basic configuration

mean Windows7 system comes with software or settings.

1, IE8

Windows7 comes with a browser is IE8, if you are still using IE6, IE8 may experience discomfort. IE8 has a lot to offer, and borrows many excellent features from other browsers, such as smart address bar, stealth mode and so on. I don't go into the details here. There are many introductions about IE8 on the Internet.

twice after I installed IE8 using an enhanced version of Firefox3, compared to IE, I still prefer Firefox.

2, WindowsMediaPlayer12

There is nothing to say, windows certainly comes with its own media player tool. At the same time, Windowsmediacenter is also included in the program.

3, comes screenshot tool

I love this tool. Although relatively simple, it can meet the general needs.

4, firewall rules

Windows7 comes with a more powerful firewall, customized rule is relatively very strong. Vista

I'm not sure if there were such a set up, at least I did not find there are so intuitive in XP firewall rule set. Because the firewall is not like anti-virus software, it doesn't need to be updated frequently, so I think the firewall that comes with Windows is enough.
