How do I disable UEFI Secure Boot on Win 8 to install Linux?

Now, if you buy a computer with Windows pre-installed, it's usually Windows8 or Windows 8.1. Starting with Windows 8, Microsoft replaced the BIOS with UEFI. Although UEFI was not invented by Microsoft, it existed before Windows 8. For example, some Mac devices have been using UEFI for some time.

UEFI has a "secure boot" feature that the bootloader only launches boot loaders that are signed by the UEFI firmware. This security feature prevents malware from the rootkit class and provides an additional layer of security. But it has a downside. If you want to boot Linux on a Win8 computer, the security mechanism will prevent it. This article tells you how to disable UEFI Secure Boot in Win8 to support dual system booting for Linux.
