Designed for the desktop Win8.1 Update1 interface features

Microsoft officially pushed a major update of Win8.1 Update1 on April 8th. This update can be said to be able to give more operation to the desktop of users who use the mouse and keyboard. Convenient, and brought the operating habits of the original Windows system back to the new system to a certain extent.

At Win 8.1, Microsoft re-sent the start button back to the user, and in Win8.1 Update1 Microsoft did it more thoroughly. Although the start screen has not been canceled, it has changed a lot, mainly to increase the seamless connection.

Right-click on the taskbar and select “Properties", and in the "Navigation" tab, find “Start Screen", where we can simplify the start screen, ie “ The application view is displayed, so that the start screen can be set to a style similar to the "program" in the Win7 start menu.

And here you can also apply the desktop background to the start screen, which will provide an integrated experience.

In Win8.1 Update1, the system will automatically recognize the user device. If the user is found to be using a keyboard and a mouse, it will automatically enter the traditional desktop after booting without setting it up. This is the improvement of Update1, because in the previous Win8.1, users also need to set their own.
Manually set boot into the desktop

One of the most intuitive changes in Win8.1 Update1 is the start screen. Now add the shutdown button and search button in the upper right corner of the start screen. Just click the shutdown button to select sleep. Shut down and restart. The tile on the start screen also supports the right-click menu instead of the menu bar at the bottom.

Now the taskbar is no longer limited to traditional desktops, and the menu bar can be used in both the start screen and the Metro app. Just bring the mouse to the bottom of the screen and it will be called up. Metro apps can also be docked to the taskbar and support tab switching to support floating previews.

The Metro application itself has also been improved in Win8.1 Update1, adding the top windowing bar, adding a close and minimize button in the upper right corner. In addition to being unable to run in window mode, others are already very close to traditional programs.

Reduce the difficulty of getting started, so we recommend upgrading Update1 immediately.
