How to delete the virus hiding folder in Win7 system

In the past few days, my computer was marked. The Win7 system was infected with a virus. The virus was hidden in a folder named "SystemVolumeInformation" on the system disk. After killing with anti-virus software, the contents of the folder were emptied. But this folder can't be deleted, what is going on?

fact, "SystemVolumeInformation" folder is a hidden system folder, "System Restore" tool to use the folder to store its information and restore points. This folder is located on each partition and stores backup information for system restores. It's not a virus folder, but a lot of viruses like to live here.

to completely remove the folder as follows: type "gpedit.msc" in the "Start → Run", start the Group Policy Editor, expand "Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → System Restore" find the "Turn off system restore", double click set to "enable".

expand "computer configuration → Administrative templates → Windows components → WindowsInstaller", there will be a "close to the right to create a system restore checkpoints on the right Click ", double-click to set to "Enable", and then use the "cacls" command (cacls"c:SystemVolumeInformation"/geveryone:f) to give the current user full control permission to delete the "SystemVolumeInformation" folder.
