Something about partitioning

System crash? Abnormal operation? Is it difficult to collect data data..... Many people like to use the restore software, or reinstall the system, and many people encountered when installing the restore software, more than two primary partitions can not be installed. . . . .

In Windows, the entire hard disk can only have 4 primary partitions and extended partitions. This is because the hard disk boot has only four primary partitions with boot information capacity. The partitions here are not the D/E/F disks you see, and those may be your logical partitions. The primary partition is the partition that the system starts. That is to say, your system must be installed in a primary partition, which is called the C drive. If you install dual systems, it will naturally occupy a primary partition.....because the primary partition There is boot information, so the restore software that can restore the system when booting up must also be in the main partition. . .
Most of the notebooks come with their own restore software, so there are already two main partitions, one to install the operating system, one to install the restore software, the other to several logical partitions, and, in Windows7 One verifies the primary partition, that is, there are already two primary partitions and one extended partition without pressing the restore software. . . . .
I am an example of my own experience to explain:
Problem: My operating system is Windows7, I artificially divided two primary partitions (in order to install other operating systems), so the system is installed After that is the partition: a C drive (win7 operating system), a Q zone (Win7 verification genuine registration information), a D drive (I have a primary partition, and then install other operating systems), the rest of the E /F/G (both are logical areas in an extended partition), you see if this is three mains, one extension. Can no longer be divided. . . . . .
So I deleted the main partition of the D disk, I want to use the installation and restore software, can you? . . . The answer is absolutely no. Because when installing the restore software, one-click restore will automatically separate the backup as the primary partition. This is equivalent to splitting the primary partition into two. Obviously, the number of primary partitions of the entire hard disk is over, and,,,,,,,
